Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts Covid Testing Update
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts now offers free on-site Covid-19 viral antigen test for US travelers.
Following our update on Friday, January 15th, and following the guidelines by the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), we would like to announce that we are offering the COVID-19 viral antigen test at no cost to our guests traveling from the USA, before returning to the U.S.
Viral Antigen Testing
The antigen testing will be offered free of charge to US travelers until March 31st, 2021, or until the regulations regarding this new requirement change. The procedure will be carried out by medical professionals in designated areas of our resorts in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Jamaica.
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts has partnered with local medical labs, which will carry out the procedure and any other covid aspect related to healthcare. Test results will be received within 72 hours prior to departure as required by the CDC, in written and/or electronic format. Guests should contact the front desk at each resort upon arrival to schedule departure testing. Please be informed that a copy of your flight booking will be required to formalize the scheduling of departure testing.
Extended stay due to quarantine or positive results will be provided to the guest and one companion traveling from the USA at no cost of up to 10 days, sharing the same room.
Both, free on-site antigen test and 10 days extended stay is applicable for guests with a minimum of a 3-night stay in any of our hotels.
