We are excited to share our recent visit to the RIU Palace Aruba, where we had the special opportunity—as a preferred agency of RIU—to experience the resort right after its re-opening and fully enjoy the new renovations and upgrades.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the property has been beautifully refreshed. Every renovation is excellent—modern, elegant, and thoughtfully executed throughout the guest rooms, common areas, restaurants, and outdoor spaces. The result is a luxurious, brand-new feel that still delivers the warm Caribbean hospitality RIU is known for.
Guest Rooms
The guest rooms have been completely renovated and refreshed. They now feature modern furnishings, updated bathrooms, stylish décor, and enhanced comfort that make every stay feel brand new. The rooms are bright, inviting, and designed with the same high standard of quality seen throughout the rest of the resort.
Elite Club
One of the most exciting additions with the reopening is the new Elite Club by RIU. This premium, adults-only experience elevates the stay with exclusive benefits that include preferred room locations (including select rooms with private pools), personalized check-in, a distinctive Elite Club wristband, a welcome gift, in-room aromatherapy, premium liquor dispensers, and an upgraded minibar. Guests also enjoy access to the exclusive Elite Club Restaurant, the Elite Club Lounge with premium drinks, priority reservations at themed restaurants, and a reserved beachfront/pool area with dedicated bar service and Balinese beds or loungers. The Beach & Ocean
One of the highlights of our stay was the pristine beach. There was no seaweed in sight, and the waters were crystal-clear blue—perfect for swimming, floating, or simply relaxing under the sun. The beach itself is soft and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind.
Dining, Menus & the New American Country Sports Bar
The restaurants have undergone impressive renovations that elevate the entire dining experience. Updated interiors feel fresh and inviting, while the menus have been thoughtfully refreshed with new dishes and enhanced variety that appeal to a wide range of tastes. The food quality remained consistently great throughout our stay.
A standout addition is the brand-new American Country Sports Bar. This lively venue offers a fun, energetic atmosphere with a true sports-bar feel—perfect for catching games, enjoying casual American-style favorites, and sharing good times with family or friends. Combined with the friendly, attentive service we experienced everywhere on property, dining at RIU Palace Aruba is now even more enjoyable.
