Majestic Colonial Punta Cana to Undergo Renovations
We are excited to share that Majestic Colonial Punta Cana will undergo a comprehensive $35 million renovation beginning in April 2026, and will reopen on November 12, 2026.
This investment reflects Majestic Resorts’ ongoing commitment to enhancing the guest experience across its Caribbean portfolio and will plan to include:
Guest Room Renovations
• Conversion of existing rooms that will bring 30 of the Family Suite (Outdoor Jacuzzi) room category to this resort and enhance accommodation space for families with a main bedroom featuring a king-size bed and a separate living area with two Murphy beds and a sofa bed, for up to six guests
• Following the conversion, the resort will feature a new total of 636 guest rooms, with all room categories undergoing a complete renovation, including brand-new bathrooms
• Exterior jacuzzis and indoor bathtubs will be included in all suites
These upgrades significantly enhance the resort’s offering for travelers seeking family-friendly resorts in Punta Cana with elevated comfort and space.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana, which features both The Club (Adults Only 18+) and a Family Section (All Ages), has long been a valued part of Majestic Resorts.
